I am making flutes out of PE-X waterpipe in keys of F, G and A. They have a lip-plate for better tone and an internal head-taper which brings the top octave high notes in tune with the rest. They are made in two sections with a decorated joint. They are hand-tuned and voiced. The sound is warm and more like a bamboo flute.
