Whistles in the keys of [E, Eb], D, C#, C, B, (Bb)
These whistles are made out of 5/8" or 16mm aluminium tubing, inner bore size is about 12.7mm or 14mm. I use the smaller bore size for the higher keys.
D whistle

Compared to a standard Generation D whistle this whistle has a considerable wider bore, and a mellower and more powerful sound. It could be called a Session whistle. It has a wide dynamic range and can be played both loud and also softly. The big tone holes make for easy half-holing semi tones D#, F nat, G# and Bb. The thumb hole gives it a strong clear C natural. The cross-fingered alternative C nat is OXXOOO or OXOXXX (keeping the thumb hole closed).
I offer this whistle with different windway widths, to suit the players breath and power requirements. The standard D-S model has a slightly more refined tone than the D-L model, which plays about 3dB louder.

An extra wide-bore extra powerful D whistle is also available, see Mezzo-SopranoWhistles
